Our 2023 Signature oil is a unique early harvest style with fruity, herbaceous flavours and a subtle peppery finish. Cold pressed from green and turning colour olives, varieties include the rare Bouqettier, Mission and Verdale. This organic oil is unfiltered, unrefined and lovingly hand-bottled in small batches. Our heritage trees rely solely on natural rainfall and once picked, olives are cold pressed immediately producing a low yield of ultra-premium organic olive oil – beautifully concentrated in flavour. On average our trees produce just one precious litre of organic olive oil each, so a 15L cask contains the entire annual production of 15 trees!

Packaging
Glass bottles have a pourer insert to control flow, tins have a pull up pouring spout, and casks (bag in box) have a tap. The cask tap provides great drizzling control and is drip free (turn off the tap until you feel a click). Our casks are also BPA free and keep oil fresher for longer by excluding air. Read more about casks and shelf life. 15L casks and 20L tins both have taps and we include a free empty bottle and pourer for easy decanting.

After tasting fresh olive oil in Croatia I realised what all the fuss is about. So I googled "best olive oil in Australia" and up came the Grampians website. Ordered 2 x 2L casks and am in BLISS! It is the best tasting olive oil I've ever had. Pouring onto salads, veg... (actually pretty much everything) and it brings out the flavour of it all. Salads have never tasted so good. It's magical! I think of all those years watching Jamie Oliver pour olive oil over everything and thinking YUCK, bitter and rancid taste ruining that.. AND NOW I KNOW. Beautiful - One of the Best
A wonderful peppery flavour, I use this oil for everything from dressing salads to baking to cooking. It performs excellently and I’m not sure I will ever have another EVOO in my pantry again. The cask is a stroke of genius. No leaks, easy to dispense into the glass bottle provided and provides a great quality long lived shelf life. From the customer service to actually tasting the oil, everything has surpassed my expectations. I have bought the 250ml bottle to give as presents and thought it was high time to try it myself. I have been using it on special dishes that warrant great olive oil. I am more than impressed. I have used it on roasted veg salad and it was flavoursome without being overpowering. I just used it as a dressing, nothing else was needed. It is also tasty with bread as a dip and I can’t wait till summer to use it on salads. A friend, to whom I gave it as a present, loved it so much she is going to buy a bulk supply. I can’t give a better recommendation than that!

Favourite oil
This would be our families favourite olive oil. We are a family of four and this 15litres lasts us about 8 months, not bad when we use it for most things including sourdough breads and pizza. We can’t wait for covid 19 to finish so we can come for a weekend away and visit .

I don’t know about you, but I managed to reach my forties, only consuming store-bought olive oil. Which would have been fine if I hadn’t tried Grampians Olive Oil. Thanks a lot. Now I’m ruined for all other oils.

Grampians oil is absolutely superb! It is fresh, real oil and organically produced unlike the "olive oil" one finds in shops which is often old, stale rubbish or (incredibly enough) not even real olive oil! For more information about all the phony "olive oil" on the market, read the book entitled "Real Food/Fake Food" by Larry Olmsted. Rest assured that Grampians olive oil is the real thing and one would be hard pressed to find a better oil.

Simply the best olive oil you can buy.
There is a very simple test to determine the quality of the olive oil you are buying. Put Grampians Olive Oil in your fridge along with a bottle from your Supermarket. We keep our Grampians cask of olive oil in our fridge and after a week if you open the cask tap the oil won't run out. We have to crack open the cardboard box & squeeze the cask. Grampians Olive comes out in cloudy globs. Most supermarket brands don't cloud up or go vicous. If you put your olive oil in the fridge for a week before you taste it then the oils will rate themselves in the fridge, the more viscous & cloudy an olive oil goes in the fridge the higher the quality of the oil. As for the taste of Grampians Olive Oil, well if you buy Grampians Olive Oil & Jan & I recommend you do, then cut down you sugar consumptiom, cut down your processed food consumption because your going to be using a lot more olive oil and your probably going to want increase your Himalayan Salt consumption. If that thought scares you we recommend you download 2 kindle books: 1. "The Salt Fix: Why the experts got it all wrong and how eating more salt might save your life" by Dr. James . 2. "Fat for Fuel" by Dr. Joseph Mercola.
Still not convinced to eat more Grampians Olive Oil then read: "The Plant Paradox by Dr. Steven Gundry or The Obesity Code by Kidney Specialist Dr. Jason Fung.

I was looking for a unique reasonably high end Olive oil product in a larger volume than what is normally available in the shops. This fitted the bill perfectly and it's Australian! I highly recommend it, though I suggest you use it sparingly or you will run up a large bill buying more - it's that good

I have been ordering this oil now for many months and enjoy its light delicate flavour and it’s versatility-from salad dressing / bread dipping -to risotto drizzling- to garlic sauté. Toscana is the best
I have been using Toscana olive oil for many years and have always loved the product mainly using the lemon pressed extra virgin olive oil and the organic cold pressed extra virgin olive oil. The only reason that I haven't given it a 5 star rating is because of the change in packaging. I used to buy it in a tin but now have to buy the 2L cask as the 4L tin is too big and I find the cask difficult and messy to used. Apart from that the product is excellent.

Best ever extra virgin olive oil
I grew up near here and we have been buying this olive oil in different capacities for many years. I spend alot of time in the south of Italy too - noone takes more care with olive oil production than Toscana does. What I most loved hearing when I visited the grove 12 months ago was that the presses only run when the pickers are there. That is, only freshly picked fruit is pressed - none of this laying around in the heat and Autumn rains! Now, that is extra virgin olive oil for you - of the best possible quality.

Smooth and fruity
This is a wonderfully versatile oil. It makes the best vinaigrette and adds flavour to pesto. I use it for cooking fish, mixed with butter and for mashing potatoes. It is wonderful drizzled on steamed green veggies, too. It goes without saying that it is a must for dipping bread and dukkah. I love this oil.

Another way
Unlike most, including my husband, I don't like all my food to taste of olive oil. So for health reasons I have it by the tablespoonful with black pepper to aid absorption of turmeric. And it tastes surprisingly good! It is delicious for dipping fresh sourdough bread, especially with a bit of fresh garlic. This olive oil has a very nice subtle flavour as well as the many health benefits.

Toscana better than Tuscany
Having lived in Tuscany Italy for many years and tasted the hand pressed virgin olive oil from that region, I can honestly say that Toscana cold pressed virgin olive oil beats the best from Tuscany. It is always full of flavour and I love the peppery taste of the first pressed unfiltered oil: Delicious on salads, always light when cooked and try rubbing toasted bread with garlic and drizzle this liquid gold on it.Simply to die for!
